Bellamy Young, born February 19th, 1970, in Asheville North Carolina United States is one of America's most well-known and wealthy Television Actresses. She played The First Lady Mellie Grant on ABC's Scandal. Beth Clemmons, a character in CBS Criminal Minds that she played regularly. She has worked as an editor and producer with Shonda Rhimes both on Scandal as well as Private Practice. The two shows were Scandal and Private Practice and Scandal. The actress attended Asheville High School and graduated in 1987. Her graduation was in 1991 at Yale University, where she took classes in English and theater.
